We are the Registered Adviser; You Serve Your Clients: APFORIA is registered as an investment adviser with the Securities & Exchange Commission*. By joining APFORIA your firm becomes a contracted Tenant Firm and is no longer the registered entity. The adviser representatives at your firm all become registered with APFORIA. This transition process generally takes 30 – 60 days, during which time you will be registered at both APFORIA and your original firm.

Onboarding with our team has four primary stages:

  • All the adviser representatives at your firm become registered at APFORIA
  • Your clients sign new contracts indicating their investment advice is coming from APFORIA doing business as (dba) your firm
  • We register any custodial accounts you have under our master accounts
  • Your original firm withdraws its registration(s) as an investment adviser

Compliance Simplified: Once you are on the APFORIA team, you don’t register yourself, or your firm, or talk to the regulators. We do all that for you. Your compliance tasks are limited to completing our onboarding and annual training, abiding by applicable laws and regulations, and keeping adequate books and records. (Don’t worry, we will help you with all that.)

Decomplicating Your Cashflow: APFORIA bills your clients per the instructions you provide. The collected fees are transferred to you twice a month, less APFORIA’s service fee. You are not a W2 employee of APFORIA. You are contracted to acquire and provide financial planning and investment advice to the clients you want to serve.

Maximum Earnings Potential: As you grow with APFORIA, you can reach up to 90% payouts. Our tiered payout structure is designed to reward your success and hard work. The more you develop your practice and client base, the higher your payout percentage climbs, ensuring your financial growth is directly tied to your professional achievements.

Your Clients, Your Legacy: We believe in your long-term success. If you ever decide to leave APFORIA, you keep all your clients. We don’t believe in restrictive practices that limit your professional mobility. Your client relationships are yours to maintain, giving you the freedom and security to build your practice without fear of losing the relationships you’ve worked hard to develop.

Succession Planning: Financial planners, particularly solo practitioners, often worry about what happens to their clients if they can no longer provide services. Without a clear succession plan, clients could be left vulnerable during a critical financial transition. If you have a solid business continuity plan that involves succession, then we will honor it. If your business continuity plan does not include succession planning, APFORIA provides a solution to ensure your clients receive continuous, professional support, even if you are unexpectedly unable to serve them. We help create a seamless transition that protects your clients’ financial interests and preserves the trust you’ve built over years of dedicated service.
